Video work of "WORDS ARE UNRELIABLE" Project with Silke Dettmers

In the process of the interview, it is a problem that many people did not want to show their face in the video, so I tried again and again and asked people in the street, gallery, shopping centre and so on. Finally, I edited 7 persons’ videos from almost 20 persons’ interviews.

Through the work, I got a lot of interesting answers. I found that “Jessica” is not only a name of a person, it could be a kind of lifestyle, an interest, a pet or an important person, just anything or anybody that make you feel safe in your life.

Bath

颇有期待的巨石阵并没有想象中的气势，只能远远的观望。反而这家巴斯历史最悠久的建筑中，我们找到了在巴斯最值得记忆的点，就是SALLY LUNNS的下午茶，看似粗糙的外表下，美到无法抗拒的味道。



"WORDS ARE UNRELIABLE" Project with Silke Dettmers

This was an idea about recording the change of the words in the rain by a series of images. It can be seen that the words changed from clear to vague gradually, which refers to the unreliable words. In fact, it was an interesting test of a momentary inspiration on a rainy day, which was fun to record and create meaning.

Cambridge

剑桥，一个对中国人来说很有情节的地方。因为徐志摩，那一片云彩，那一座叹息桥，那一块刻着这首诗的石碑，那一抹挥手告别，都显得这么有意味。这个小镇的人们，悠闲的生活，和伦敦有着完全不同的步调，到处也都迷茫着书卷气。

Words are Unreliable

This was a piese of test related the "Words are Unreliable" Project. I printed the words and hollowed out the words. Then used the lights to make a shadow on the wall. As you see, the real words just one sentence, but the shadow are two sentences. This is the change of words I want to show.

Windsor Castle

去到温莎城堡，这是个美丽的小到不能再小的小镇，虽然城堡内不能拍照，但是那些古油画以及装饰品让人足够惊叹，富丽堂皇的宫殿也着实让生活在东方文化下的我们享受了一次视觉上的饕餮大餐。站在颓废的小车站等待远方的火车声，夕阳下一切都意犹未尽，总觉得这是一个会再回来的地方。
